Pilathara Co-operative Arts and Science College , a unit of Co-operative Institute of Educational ,Paramedical and Technology LTD, Madayi started functioning in the year 2008. On August 16th 2010, the college began to work in its newly constructed building .The college is located on a quiet and beautiful area of about twenty acres .The newly constructed building was inaugurated by Sri Kodiyeri Balakrishnan(Minister of Home Affairs and Tourism)
B.Com CA, B.Sc Physics ,BCA and B.Sc Mathematics courses were offered at the beginning of the college . BBM,B.Sc computer science ,M.Sc Computer Science courses were started the year in 2011,M.Com Finance in 2012,BBA , BBA TTM in 2015 and MSC Physics , Bcom Co-Operation in 2018 . In 2020 BA English ,B.Sc Chemistry and B.Com Finance were started .The college at present has 10 UG courses and 2 PG courses.
